Bubba:
Bubba was found in an old bird cage with no food or water in a junky yard in Seguin. His face was scraped up from trying to get out. He was just a kitten, about 2 months old. He's very sweet and would make a great pet for anybody.
Giddeon:
he was brought here by a man who claimed he was being evicted about 4 years ago. He brought several cats out here promising to come back for them and to help with their care. He never came back. We guestimate that Gideon is about 6 years old. He's sweet and well socialized.
Twiggy:
was completely feral when she came to SARA. Someone trapped her and no other animal group would accept her. She was only 6 months old when she came here and now is tame and likes people.
Misty:
came from a hoarding situation where the person got in over her head with too many animals. She has been here for 4 years now. She is friendly and likes other cats. She's about 7 years old.
Hyatt:
Hyatt was rescued in Lockhart, Texas where he was found living behind a restaurant scrounging for garbage to survive. He was feral but now accepts people and gets along well with other cats.
Delores:
was found along with her litter of kittens at the San Antonio River Walk by someone who was in San Antonio on business. She brought them here. While Delores is friendly and sociable, the kittens are semi-feral and have never really warmed up to people. Having said that, they are happy and enjoy the company of their cat friends and tolerate people.

Sponsor A Farm Animal!

At SARA Sanctuary, we have all kinds of farm animals that have been rescued from cruelty or neglect. We will be adding a full page to the website soon. For now, here are two farm animals that need your support!

Diane The chicken:
She was rescued from a feed store where she and several others were crammed into small cages and were sickly.
Prissy The chicken:
was also rescued from the same cramped living conditions at the feed store. Now she and her feathered friends are living the good life in a clean chicken coop with room to move around and socialize.
