    Stay at our working animal sanctuary on 128 acres in Central Texas, home to 750+ rescued residents. Guests are welcome to simply visit or take part as volunteers, helping with daily care like feeding, watering, and cleaning. Expect a grounded, immersive experience where connection replaces distraction and every day brings something new.

    The Best Bunkhouse in Texas

    The big red barn holds a single upstairs bunkhouse with a panoramic deck overlooking the sanctuary. Views shift constantly with animals, weather, and light. The space suits families with kids or teens and opens directly onto the deck, so stair awareness matters. Inside are one queen bed under exposed beams, three couches, heat, air conditioning, a full fridge, and coffee setup.

    Bathroom, Kitchen, and Extra's

    There is no bathroom upstairs. Guests use the downstairs barn bathroom with toilet, tub, and shower, plus the Best Little Outhouse in Texas about 50 steps away with indoor plumbing and an outdoor shower. Cooking happens in a shared kitchen shed overlooking pigs and pasture. High-speed WiFi and a large TV are included.
